I'm a local, born and raised in Seattle. I grew up by Green Lake, graduated from
the UW, and have lived in North Beach for over twenty years. I love selling real
estate because there are so many wonderful places to live around Seattle.
In between home sales you'll usually find me shopping around Ballard or on the deck
at Ray's Boathouse. Often I'm introducing one friend to another or welcoming newcomers
to the area. During the middle of winter I'm an avid skier and spend winter snow
days on the slopes up at Stevens Pass or at Blackcomb/Whistler. Don't worry, I wear
a helmet.
I've played a role in helping my local community develop into a more "hip"
place by serving on the Board of Directors of the Ballard Chamber of Commerce for
the past six years. During that time I've promoted the 2nd Saturday Art Walks, served
Salmon at Seafoodfest, recruited new businesses to the area, sold Chamber memberships
and generally helped out. It has led to my self-appointed nickname "the Mayor
of Ballard."
